Hey everyone, welcome to Sports are Queer, I am your host Alinia (Allie) and this site will be dedicated to covering sports from a queer perspective. Well, since I am queer, my perspective is queer so that is how I look at it.
The look is a work in progress at the moment, menus and links are not set and I am just working on getting things put together.
I want to cover sports that are important to me as well as topics that are important to me such as mental health issues in sports.
I mentioned I am queer. I am a transgender female and slowly making my transition to being fully out in the world. I guess how successful this site actual is will determine how quickly that transition becomes.
For now sit back, I hope to get the house in order soon and start creating content in the next few weeks.
